Inspired by the Indian state of Rajasthan, Desert Kingdom is a concept for a company specialising in packaging for succulents. Rajasthan, despite being largely a desert land, is home to a number of royal dynasties, with lavish palaces, forts and castles. These kingdoms thrived, overcoming the poor weather and climate conditions, and having almost no water, which is essential for survival. Much like these kingdoms, succulents and cactii also thrive on the tiniest amount of water. Each package is inspired by a significant palace from the state, showcasing the outer facade as well as the details inside inspired by natural elements. The package and product also serve as a reminder to the audience, that it if both small plants and majestic kingdoms can survive and flourish under harsh conditions, making the most of what is available to them, so can they.
